Let’s examine the main highlights from the previous week:
1. Upgrade v0 testnet libraries
Based on the internal audit the upgrade of the v0 testnet libraries completed. V0 source code is currently upgraded to:
- Toolchain channel = “nightly-2024–02–01”
- Polkadot 1.0.0 (https://github.com/substrate-developer-hub/substrate-node-template)
2. Continuing tests of staking and validation on v0 AlphaBalance Testnet
Tests underway on AlphaBalance Testnet v0 (https://polkadot.js.org/apps/?rpc=wss%3A%2F%2Frpc-alpha.balancedao.io%2F#/staking) with upgraded libraries.
3. Announced Our First AI Model Grant Programme
We are thrilled to unveil our inaugural AI model grant aimed at fostering innovation and supporting community initiatives within the realm of artificial intelligence.

4. Audit
We have chosen the auditor company to work with us on the v0 source code audit. Currently working with them on initial setup of the audit process.
5. Balance AI Wallet — Alpha version
Bug fixing on Alpha version and preparing to move the codebase to Beta.
6. Functional Roadmap Detailed Guide
We are working on the detailed guide for the functional roadmap. It is going to show the details of our plans and technical aspects of Balance AI Chain.
