BalanceAI Network V0 ‘The Torus’ — Recap, Key Updates, and Functionality Enhancements
Introduction
The launch of BalanceAI Network’s V0 Mainnet, The Torus, is approaching, and we’d like to update the community on a few key updates.
As the community is well aware, this release has taken longer than initially planned. We want to express our gratitude for your patience and support throughout this journey. Building a substrate-based network is no small feat, and our commitment to security and decentralization has led us to prioritize additional audits and reinforcement work. These efforts ensure a solid and resilient infrastructure that will allow us to build with confidence as we progress toward the V1 and V2 upgrades.
In the meantime, we’ve taken the opportunity to accelerate development on certain components, such as the Agents VM (centralized version), which now provides the community with a powerful research tool powered by Text2Agents. This feature not only enhances ongoing research capabilities but also offers a preview of what will be possible with the AI nodes set to deploy in the V1 upgrade.
Updated Components
Originally, a simple wallet was planned for managing BalanceAI assets. However, during the development process, this feature evolved into a more comprehensive ecosystem within our Dashboard, with the aim of incorporating more functionality enhancements. This centralizes interactions and streamlines essential activities like transfers, bridging, staking, and other functions integral to our ecosystem, all-in one place. This consolidated approach will make engagement smoother and will continue to be enhanced with future updates.
Similarly, we have accelerated the development of the Agents VM (centralized version). Although initially scheduled for the V1 upgrade, the developers managed to deliver a functional beta version for V0, allowing us to showcase some of the tools that will be available through Text2Agents.
Agents VM (centralized version) is a proof-of-concept of the VM that will be used as a Balance AI Computation Node (delivered as part of V1).
The Computational Nodes will enhance the computational power of the Balance AI network by providing GPU and computational environment that will boost the network AI capabilities significantly.
The nodes will be run by community members that will receive grants for running such nodes.

Audits
As we’ve shared before, launching a substrate-based network is no small task, which is why we’ve conducted additional audits to ensure everything is correctly optimized and aligned with the foundational structure of our ecosystem. These extra steps underscore our commitment to providing a secure and resilient infrastructure.

BalanceAI Vision
We’ve had many valuable discussions with the community around feedback and potential improvements. As we’ve mentioned on multiple occasions, we are always open to suggestions, and there’s always room for improvement — something we are committed to working on continuously. We’d like to take this moment to thank the community for its ongoing support and trust. Additionally, we want to emphasize the long-term vision of BalanceAI and the core principles that shape its design.
