Introducing the BalanceAI–Ethereum Bridge: Seamless Asset Transfers Across Chains
We are excited to announce the release of the BalanceAI–Ethereum Bridge on Mainnet version, a powerful new feature that allows users to move their assets between the BalanceAI Chain (BAI) and Ethereum (wBAI). Whether you’re engaging with the Testnet’s, Sepolia (Ethereum) / Galileo (BalanceAI) or the Mainnet’s, this bridge supports the conversion of the native BAI token into wrapped BAI (wBAI) on Ethereum with a 1:1 conversion ratio, ensuring simplicity and reliability, bringing new opportunities to manage your digital assets efficiently.
Why This Matters
This bridge represents an essential step in expanding the utility of BAI by allowing it to operate within the Ethereum ecosystem as wBAI. Through this conversion, users gain access to Ethereum’s extensive ecosystem while maintaining a strong link to the BalanceAI Chain.
Both Mainnet and Testnet versions of the bridge are now available:
- Mainnet Dashboard: dashboard.balanceai.network
- Testnet Access: For access to testing features, contact us via Discord.
Key Details
1:1 Conversion Ratio
- For every 1 BAI sent via the bridge, 1 wBAI is received on Ethereum.
- The bridge guarantees parity, so there’s no loss of value during the conversion.
Minimum Transfer Amount
- Transfers below 0.123 BAI are not supported due to the bridge fee.
Bridge Fees
- A fixed fee of 0.123000321 BAI is charged for each transfer on the Ethereum side.
- This fee is permanently burned, contributing to the deflationary mechanics of the BAI token.
Teleportation Period
- A mandatory waiting period of 12 hours applies before tokens can be claimed on the target chain.
Synchronization Times
- Due to processing times on the Ethereum network, transactions may take 1 to 20 minutes to reflect in the BalanceAI dashboard.
Token Management
Mainnet Tokens
- BAI (Mainnet): The native token of the BalanceAI Network, designed to power the network and its ecosystem. It serves multiple purposes, including staking, incentivising models and agents providers, transactions, on-chain governance (in the future).
Testnet Tokens
- BAI (Galileo — Testnet): The testnet counterpart of the native BAI token, designed for testing features and transactions.
Wrapped Tokens
wBAI (Ethereum): The ERC-20 wrapped version of BAI for use on the Ethereum network.
Contract Address
: 0x8CCD897ca6160ED76755383B201C1948394328c7
wToken (Ethereum Sepolia Testnet): The testnet version of the wrapped BAI token, deployed on the Sepolia test network.
Contract Address
: 0xd6ec18D3dC8202284c59E20bea159cFC14EE8c79
Important: Always ensure you are interacting with the correct token contract address, especially when bridging assets between networks.
Accessing the Bridge via BalanceAI Dashboard
Overview
The BalanceAI Dashboard serves as the central hub for interacting with the BalanceAI blockchain and its ecosystem. It provides users with tools to:
- Manage assets: View, send, and receive tokens.
- Stake tokens: Participate in staking to earn rewards.
- Utilize bridging functionalities: Seamlessly transfer tokens between BalanceAI and Ethereum.
The interface ensures that both experienced users and newcomers can navigate and interact with the ecosystem effortlessly.
Mainnet
For Mainnet operations, access the dashboard at: dashboard.balanceai.network.
Testnet
For development and testing purposes, the Testnet version is available via the Sepolia (Ethereum) and Galileo (BalanceAI) environments. To gain access, please join our Discord server and request the necessary permissions.
Prerequisites
To use the BalanceAI Bridge effectively:
Connect a Web3-Compatible Wallet
Ensure you have a Web3 wallet installed and configured. Recommended wallets include:
- Polkadot.js Browser Plugin (currently the only wallet supported for full Dashboard functionality).
- SubWallet (alternative option for managing assets).
Set Up Your Wallet

How It Works: Using the AI Bridge
The AI Bridge module enables the seamless conversion of native BAI tokens into their wrapped counterpart (wBAI) on Ethereum and vice versa.
Access the Dashboard
Navigate to dashboard.balanceai.network. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the process.

Faucet for First-Time Bridging Users
To ensure smooth onboarding, a manual faucet is available for users performing their first bridge to the BalanceAI Chain. Here’s how it works:
1. Complete the Bridge Transfer:
Users must complete the bridge transfer to initiate the process.
2. Submit Your Address:
Once the transfer is complete, users must provide their BAI address via DM with moderators.
3. Provide the Transaction ID (TX):
Users must also provide the transaction ID (TX) of their bridge transfer via (View transaction) to confirm that they are completing a real transfer.
4. Gas Allocation:
Once verified, a small amount of BAI (sufficient to cover the gas fees for claiming bridged tokens) will be sent by our moderators.
