Announcing Our First AI Model Grant Programme
Balance AI Risk Challenge
We are thrilled to unveil our inaugural AI model grant aimed at fostering innovation and supporting community initiatives within the realm of artificial intelligence.
Grant Overview:
We invite participants to develop the most innovative AI model utilising the Balance AI Risk framework. (https://github.com/balancedao/balance-ai-risk)
Grant:
$1,000 (in $BAI) — awarded by the jury to the most innovative solution
Guidelines:
To participate, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- The model must be written in the expert system language CLIPS.
- It must utilise the Balance AI Risk framework (https://github.com/balancedao/balance-ai-risk) as model basis.
- Focus on aspects of risk management, strategy management, scenario analysis, stress testing, strategy algorithms, etc.
- Publish your models as open-source under the Apache 2.0 licence.
- Share your model on GitHub by forking Balance AI repository (https://github.com/balancedao/balance-ai-risk).
- Provide a detailed description of usage and include an example request within your model (as Readme file).
- Description has to include example requests for the model and corresponding responses from the model. It has to include at least one use case showing the usability of the model.
Timeline:
Participants will have two weeks to prepare and submit their models.

Please email your submissions to ai@balancedao.io
- Title of the email should include: Risk Model Submission + (name of the model)
- Provide short description
- Share Github link
We believe this competition will not only drive innovation within the AI community but also contribute to our collective efforts in environmental sustainability.
The grant will be awarded by the grant jury (consisting of Balance AI team members and external experts) for the most innovative idea and delivery.
