The BalanceAI audit was conducted by SRLabs (Security Research Labs). SRLabs is a prominent firm specializing in security evaluations, particularly within the Polkadot, Kusama, and Substrate-based ecosystems. The choice of SRLabs was based on their strong reputation and recommendations from trusted teams and developers in the industry, ensuring a thorough and high-quality analysis.

We are currently implementing the testnet bridge, once ready we are going to do a thorough testing. The current audit has reviewed the Bridge Pallet functionality on the Substrate side.

What has been the experience working with SRLabs and what’s next for BalanceAI?

The collaboration with SRLabs has been highly professional and effective. They provided detailed analysis and valuable recommendations. With the launch of BalanceAI V0 underway, we are already working on V1 components. These components will also undergo audits to ensure they meet our network standards and established presets. Mainnet Update

What is the current status of the BalanceAI Mainnet launch?

The BalanceAI Mainnet launch is in the final phase, with the final integration of the dashboard and bridge in process. Once Bridge tests and infrastructure tests are completed, an official launch date will be set; we will provide further details and dates at a later time. Currently our plan is to be ready in the middle of September. Please bear in mind that any issues found during testing can change the data. However, we are working towards that set goal.

How are BAI tokens structured in the initial phase of emissions?

What halving events are planned for the BAI token supply?

The total supply is capped at 21 million tokens. The emission rate is halved at regular events, gradually reducing the amount of new tokens issued until the total supply is reached.

What utilities does the native BAI token have in the BalanceAI Network?

The BAI token is used for staking, PoS rewards, incentives for model and agent providers, access to marketplace services, transaction “gas” payments, and will be used for future decentralized governance decisions. In summary, almost all actions within the network require the token as a key for access or validation. Notably, access to marketplace services will require tokens staked, and using AI nodes will also require staked tokens to publish agents and models via nodes.

Yes, we are planning on having a bounty programme.

We are going to have a beta version of the marketplace availabel already in V0. It is a change of plans as we have advanced our engineering efforts.
